Madam, - It may just be the cynic in me, but I can't help thinking what a strange coincidence it is that Saddam Hussein's death penalty verdict arrives just two days before the midterm elections in America.
Of course the former Iraqi dictator is pure evil and deserves to be punished, never to taste freedom again.
But to say murder is wrong and then hang someone for committing it is hypocritically bizarre.
After all, murder is murder is murder. - Yours, etc,
