Sir, – Now that an extra pandemic-related “holiday” has been agreed, please might it be a time to remember all of those who died since March 2020. Many had not seen their loved ones for months or more, and many died without a family hand to hold.
All of these lives deserve to be commemorated.
The focus on virus-related deaths alone has become disrespectful of those who died from other causes, and their families. – Yours, etc,
