Sir, – I enjoyed reading Conor Pope's feature on the 1980s in Pricewatch ("Nostalgic for the 1980s? Think again", February 12th). He forgot to mention the limited choice of wines available at that time. If I remember correctly you had Black Tower or Blue Nun for white, Beaujolais for red, and not forgetting Mateus Rosé for, of course, the rosé option. Ah, those were the days. – Yours, etc,
