Madam, - On RTÉ Radio last Thursday, talking about the presidency of Ireland, Finian McGrath TD suggested that a group of independent public representatives, including himself, had a number of "quality" people lined up, one of whom was likely to stand. I was surprised to hear Mr McGrath, a former school principal, use such a selective expression, much beloved of PD spokepersons.
If there are "quality" people, what does that say for the rest of us? - Yours, etc.,
