Madam, - I hear that the State agency Forfás has suggested that Ireland may have to build a nuclear power plant to safeguard our future energy needs. What a laugh! I wonder how long this project will take, given that our Government has been promising an integrated "smart card" for our transport system for almost 12 years now, and there's still no sign of it. If we can't produce a relatively simple thing like this, what chance in hell have we got with a nuclear power plant? - Yours, etc,
