Madam, - Now that the referendum is over for another year and most of the posters have been taken down, I would ask the parties concerned to remove the thousands of cable ties left adorning the lamp posts and electricity poles across the country. There must be tons of plastic waiting to be recycled.
Are these not considered to be litter? Maybe in future different parties and organisations can use different colours so we know who is responsible. If nothing else, it would brighten up the poles. - Yours, etc.,
