Madam, - Michael McDowell's recent gratuitous use of the word "slump" will have different meanings to different people.
Whereas to some it will be evocative of the once respectable support the PDs had among the electorate, to those engaged in the building industry it will signify the test used to assess the strength and solidity required of concrete prior to use, i.e. the "slump" test. - Yours, etc,
