Sir, – Some people, including news broadcasters, are inclined to refer to somebody who has died as having “passed away”. Why not simply say that the person in question has died?
I fully accept that my view is a purely personal one, but I hate that “passed away” expression. I believe many other people feel the same way. – Yours, etc,
