Madam, - On Wednesday you carried an Editorial on changes in the Leaving Cert. Yesterday there were two full pages in "Exam Times" on the Junior Cert and Leaving Cert in an edition totalling 34 pages.
What is the reason for the annual national obsession with school examinations? I am not aware of any comparable interest in such trivia in Northern Ireland, Britain or the rest of the civilised world. Surely the items raised in "Exam Times" can be left to your award-winning education website alone. - Yours, etc,
