RICHARD BURKE,

Sir, - Roy Keane, in his autobiography, criticises the lack of dietary advice from the FAI, writing that he had to eat cheese sandwiches the night before a Republic of Ireland match in Amsterdam.

He takes a swipe at his team-mates for lacking the hunger required to win a trophy last season ignoring the fact that Arsenal and Real Madrid were, quite simply, better than the Old Trafford side.
