Madam, - The Irish Timesis to be congratulated for devoting two pages in last Thursday's edition to the forthcoming Leonardo da Vinci exhibition in the Chester Beatty library.
With the demise of Rattlebag on RTÉ radio and the changes to courses such as Old Irish in UCD, the drama course in Trinity and women's studies at NUI Galway, it is refreshing to note that The Irish Times has increased, rather than reduced, its coverage of the arts.
