Madam, - As a lifelong reader of The Irish Times may I express my appreciation of the high standard of two of your columnists, Michael Viney with "Another Life" and Brendan McWilliams's "Weather Eye". Their observations of the flora, fauna and vagarious weather patterns of our country and planet are of the highest order.
This standard of journalism would still make The Irish Times a must for me, even if no one else contributed to your columns. - Yours, etc,
