Sir, – While I sympathise with Pat Burke about Irish comment on the Brexit debate, I cannot agree that it is "interference" (April 19th).
I am one of an estimated 500,000 Irish-born British residents who are eligible to vote on June 23rd. This large and important constituency will consider the significant land border, as well as close social and economic ties between the two countries, when casting its vote.
Our politicians are correct to represent the interests of Ireland and its people at home and abroad. – Yours, etc,
