Sir, – Clare Bourke (May 20th) suggests admitting women to the priesthood would alleviate the shortage of bishops. I concur. May I also suggest that allowing married priests like myself to exercise the ministry for which I was ordained (Maynooth 1960) would be another step in the right direction? – Yours, etc,
