Madam, - I refer to Darach Corcoran's letter about the possible use of camera phones to police the forthcoming smoking ban (February 23rd). I am appalled at what this country has become - everyone spying on everyone else and telling tales on one another. And all for what?
I cannot understand that while the rest of Europe is becoming more liberal we as a nation are going backwards. I pity Darach Corcoran and others like him. - Yours, etc.,
