Sir, – Patricia Mulkeen's letter (December 3rd) is so full of contradictions that it's hard to know where to start in response. She describes male politicians as "sexist" but goes on speak in sexist terms about men (boys and toys and prams). She describes men's behaviour as "needy cliquishness" but extols the virtues of her own clique.
She attacks sideswipes against female politicians intended to undermine them but seems oblivious to all the critical and undermining comments heaped on male politicians. – Yours, etc,
