Madam, - I must voice my disgust at the treatment of both the Dublin and Tyrone players by the GAA and the media over the recent dust-up in Omagh.
The GAA authorities are just pandering to the media. These are amateur players who deny themselves for 10 months of the year, and they are being castigated from pillar to post. Who are we to be making demands of them to be role models?
We need to show these players a bit more respect, considering the sacrifices they make for our entertainment. - Yours, etc,
