Sir, - Some of the criticisms of Dublin Airport in recent correspondence were brought home to us on Sunday, September 22nd. We were travelling back from an idyllic holiday in Crete and the fight was an hour-and-a-half late.

However, worse was yet to come. When we finally landed at 11.25 p.m. we then had to wait an hour and 25 minutes for our baggage to appear. There was no official of any kind in the baggage hall, there was an no announcement and no apology of any sort. We actually began to wonder if our belongings were actually on the plane at all.

The worst part of it was that there were a number of elderly passengers on that flight and there is absolutely nowhere for them to sit down while they wait. - Yours, etc.,
