Sir, - The prolonged and systematic non-payment of deposit interest retention tax, coupled with the widespread use of bogus non-resident accounts that occurred in ACC has shocked an almost unshockable Irish public. This bank is our bank; it belongs to every citizen in this country.
As a citizen I am demanding that those in authority at the time be made accountable. As part-owner of ACC I am shamed by my unwitting association with those whom we put our trust in. - Yours, etc.,
