Madam, - May I gently reprove Michael Dervan for his assertion that Wolfgang Holzmair is an infrequent visitor to Ireland (The Ticket, February 12th)? Since 1992 Wolfgang has returned to Ireland at least eight times. His previous recital was in Dublin Castle on June 8th last. He also plans to return in November next.
Dublin is indeed privileged to have heard so many recitals by this truly superb Austrian baritone. - Yours, etc.,
