Sir, – With rumours of another Oasis tour doing the rounds, and Slane being floated as a venue, perhaps we should have this conversation before the queue opens rather than after.

Nobody gets seconds until everyone has a plate. So many missed out last time in 2025 while others made it their business to boast how they were going on both nights (“I’m going to Oasis both nights, tissues at the ready,” August 12th).

Governments have intervened for less. – Yours, etc,
