Sir, – In the month since the introduction of the Government’s ridiculously expensive (€681 mllion annually) bonanza to customers of the hospitality industry, I have not experienced even a 1 cent reduction in any hospitality bill. It is now time for Revenue to investigate people in this industry who are still charging VAT at 13.5 per cent when the rate has been reduced to 9 per cent. – Yours, etc,
