Sir, – Laura Kennedy, reflecting on her visit back to Limerick (“Emigrating can leave those you love feeling slightly rejected”, Life, September 25th), makes numerous references to a “bathroom” in a pub in her native city.
I have visited many pubs in numerous places throughout the world but I have never yet encountered a bathroom in a pub.
This is surely a first for Limerick and must add to the many tourist attractions in the city, even if it is only a curiosity. – Yours, etc,
