Sir, – I read with interest the article on tourists’ views on travelling around Ireland by bus or train (“From ‘pleasantly surprised’ to ‘we waited forever’ – how tourists have got on with Dublin’s public transport system”, News, August 20th).
However, I take issue with comments by the Texan couple that there is no public transportation in Texas. I have fond memories of using the Dart in Dallas in 2016, it being, of course, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit. – Yours, etc,
