Sir, – I was sitting in a coffee shop in Blackrock about nine months ago when the following happened.

A lady approached and asked me if I was the man in The Irish Times Magazine.

I politely told her I was not.

I don’t want to grow a beard but maybe Seán Moncrieff would consider doing so as his new byline photo makes him look even more like me. – Yours, etc,
