Sir, – We moved from Dublin six years ago. When we registered to vote here in Donegal, we filled in a form with information on our previous registration. In spite of this, we received polling cards at our old address in Dublin Bay South.
We also received polling cards for people who have not lived here for over six years.
Along with another mistake, we were associated with seven polling cards. As law-abiding citizens, we each only voted once.
This means that this household had a “voter turnout” of less than 30 per cent.
