Sir, – I write in response to Brian Gilsenan (Letters, December 11th).
In the event of an All-Ireland Hurling Final being played in Dubai, I am confident it would be attended and supported by circa 2,500 enthusiastic GAA members who earn their living in the Middle East region and compete annually in the Middle East GAA League and Championship, along with family, friends, and many others here who have been exposed to our great sport and culture.
Our 2024 championship finals take place in Abu Dhabi on March 8th and 9th, for those who may wish to attend. – Yours, etc,
