X marks the spot

Sir, – As an avid user of X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, I was rather shocked to read of Elon Musk’s latest initiative (“Musk says X will pay legal bills of people ‘unfairly treated’ over posts on platform”, News, August 6th).

Does he not realise that it’s cheaper to book one of the 12 passenger seats on his planned Starship flight around the Moon than to spend a few weeks arguing before a judge in the High Court? – Yours, etc,
