Sir, – The latest remarks by Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly on this ongoing saga are priceless. He states that while “we have known all along that the cost was going to go above the €1.4 billion”, he doesn’t have a final figure “as the sums involved are large” (“‘No agreed figure’ on final cost of new national children’s hospital, says Donnelly”, News, May 31st).
