Sir, – When an ambassador starts threatening his hosts as to how they may wish to mark the death of one of their citizens who has fallen in combat fighting the tyranny unleashed by his country’s unprovoked invasion of a neighbouring country (“Russian statement on Finbar Cafferkey death described as ‘threatening and chilling’”, News, April 28th), it is time he be told in no uncertain terms to pack his bags and leave. – Yours, etc,
BRENDAN O’REILLY,
Sutton,
Dublin 13.
