Sir, – What defines service charge? When I eat in a restaurant I have a person take my food and drink order, serve the food, replenish water, clear plates.
Yet this weekend I paid a service fee to Ticketmaster when I booked tickets to two events. They don’t even post tickets to me unless I pay even more. There is zero human interaction for this service fee.
The prices of tickets, like airline tickets, should be advertised including these costs. - Yours, etc,
