Keeping in touch

Appreciative reader

Sir, – I’m very appreciative of your coverage of current events in politics, business and sport, among many other subjects. Indeed I have a large binder full of recipes I’ve collected over the years, from most of which I’ve cooked delicious meals, much to the delight of family and friends.

As I’ve lived in the US for nearly 30 years, reading The Irish Times, as I’ve done since my student days in the early 1970s, keeps me in touch with what’s happening in Ireland. I visit Dublin most years and it’s great to be up to date with what’s going on in Ireland. Your newspaper brings a lot of joy to this particular emigrant and I’m sure to many more around the world. – Yours, etc,

JOHN COTTER,
