A window cleaner fell from a second-floor window to his death when a decorative window grille gave way, an inquest at Dublin City Coroner's Court was told yesterday. Mr Louis Maguire (57), of Maple Glen, Carpenterstown, Co Dublin, received multiple injuries in the fall at the Anchor Guest house, Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin, on March 6th last. Sgt Anthony Mulligan said Mr Maguire was not using a ladder or any safety harness. The jury returned a verdict of accidental death.
