Dublin

Dublin

Woodwall Road in Clonsilla is closed at Barberstown level crossing until December 18th. Diversions are clearly signposted. Disruptions are expected at the Knockmitten Lane turnpike on the Naas Road until Sunday due to the relining of lanes.

Gas works will be carried out on Malahide Road until December 3rd. NTL will be laying ducts on the Ballymun Road until November 20th and on Abbey St Upper, Capel St, Jervis St/Abbey St, Parnell St until November 16th.

Kilkenny

There will be traffic disruption each day up to Christmas due to the installation of a major surface water drain on the N9 in Mullinavat. Traffic lights and signs will be in operation in the village.

Kildare

A diversion will be in operation on the N9 at Moone until November 25th.

North-bound traffic will be diverted off the existing N9 at Bolton Hill to the new bypass and then back to the old N9 via the new link road at Moone.

South-bound traffic will be diverted via the link road on the new bypass and will rejoin the existing N9 at Bolton Hill, half a mile south of Moone.

Louth

The Southern Link Road is now open and gives direct access from the Dundalk Inner Relief Road to the N52 Dundalk-Ardee Road, thus bypassing Dundalk Town Centre.

All traffic using Carroll's factory junction should be alert for new phasing of traffic lights and the opening of additional traffic lanes.

Cork

Cross Street and Grattan Hill are closed until December. Lavitt's Quay is reduced to a single lane west-bound between St Patrick's Bridge and Christy Ring Bridge. Merchant's Quay is reduced to two lanes. A height restriction will be in place at Thomas Davis St, Blackpool, and alternative routes for vehicles will be clearly signposted.

Limerick

The dual carriageway from the Limerick side of Patrickswell heading towards Adare has now opened.

Tipperary

Delays are likely on the N8, three miles south of Urlingford, where roadworks are in place. Temporary lights will be in operation until about November 17th.

Donegal

Traffic will be reduced to one lane on the dual carriageway between Letterkenny and Derry for the next few days.

Aer Rianta

Over 127,000 passengers are expected to pass through Dublin Airport this weekend. Passengers should allow themselves time to comply with check-in regulations.

Iarnrod Eireann

There will be disruption to DART services between Bray and Dun Laoghaire from 10 p.m. on Saturdays to midday on Sundays until December 10th.

A limited shuttle will be available between these two points.

Road Deaths

There have been seven deaths this week, bringing to 308 the number of people who have died on the roads this year. This compares with 361 for the same period last year.
