Racing: David Wachman reports Bushranger to have arrived in America in good form as he prepares to take his chance in the Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita on Saturday.

The Danetime colt has won twice at the highest level already this season, landing the Prix Morny at Deauville and the Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket last time.

He had the likes of Dewhurst runner-up Lord Shanakill and subsequent Group One winner Naaqoos in behind when scoring in France, and Wachman does not envisage the step up to a mile hindering his progress.

"Bushranger arrived in America in the early hours of this morning and they tell me everything is OK with him," said Wachman. "He has been in great form since Newmarket and I think he'll be fine over the mile.

"He has already had a great season and his form looks very good after the Dewhurst on Saturday, so we're looking forward to it."

Also on the plane from Wachman's Co Tipperary base was Cheveley Park Stakes third Pursuit Of Glory, who is set to take her chance in the Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies.

"Pursuit Of Glory also travelled and she runs in the fillies version of the juvenile race," Wachman continued. "I was really pleased with her at Newmarket last time as it was only her third race and the first time on the grass having ran twice at Dundalk.

"She should have come forward again from that so hopefully, she will run well. The plan is for Johnny Murtagh to ride both horses."
