A US Kiowa observation helicopter crashed in southwest Baghdad today, and there was no immediate information on casualties, the American military said.
A spokesman said the Kiowa, which usually carries a crew of two, crashed this evening.
There was no immediate information on whether the crash was an accident or the result of an insurgent attack.
