All-Ireland champions Tyrone will kick of their quest for the Ulster title against Derry after the draw for the provincial section of the 2006 All-Ireland football championship was made in Killarney, Co Kerry this evening.
Armagh, conquerors of Tyrone in this year's Ulster championship, will open their campaign against Monaghan.
Leinster champions Dublin will meet Longford first, while beaten finalists Laois will face either Wicklow or Carlow.
Mayo, beaten to the Connacht title this year by Galway, will meet Leitrim if they can see off the challenge of London. Galway will open their defence against Sligo.
In Munster, beaten All-Ireland finalists Kerry will play Waterford for a chance to face Tipperary, while Cork will play the winner of Clare versus Limerick.
All-Ireland hurling champions Cork will restart their campaign with a visit to Clare.
In Leinster Dublin will have it all to do with an opening tie against Kilkenny. Football Draw
