Two men appeared before Gort District Court last night in relation to the death of a farmer, Mr Raymond Hynes (37), from Tubber, Co Clare. Mr James Curran (21), of Church Road, Tubber, and Mr Noel Walsh (20), of Garryland, Gort, were both charged with the unlawful killing of Mr Hynes at Rathwilladoon, Tubber, on October 26th.
Supt Paul Mockler applied to Judge Al O'Dea to have both men remanded in custody to Ennis District Court today.
