Three held after weekend drugs seizures

Three people are being questioned by gardaí in relation to weekend seizures of drugs in Dublin and Wicklow.

Gardaí say the weekend's operations brought in drugs with an estimated street value of over €1 million following seizures in counties Westmeath, Monaghan, Wicklow and Dublin.

A man and a woman are being held at Kevin Street Garda station following the seizure of €500,000 worth of cocaine, along with firearms, ammunition and drug-making equipment in Drimnagh.

A man in his thirties will appear before Bray District Court today in connection with the seizure of heroin, estimated to be worth €100,000, in Greystones.

Yesterday gardaí released two people being held at Kilmainham Garda station.
