Boxing:Katie Taylor returns to the ring on February 24th next year for her first fight since winning a gold medal at the London Olympics. The Bray lightweight's opponent is expected to be confirmed in the next couple of weeks with the fight taking place in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin.
Taylor, who recently picked up her third World Boxer of the Year award, is looking forward to getting back in the ring, having taken four weeks off after London 2012. “It’s great to have a date to focus on and it will be great to box at home as Olympic champion,” she said.
