Man in 30s dies from injuries after car hits wall

Gardaí investigating single-vehicle collision in Co Meath on N3 at about 5pm in evening

Gardaí are investigating a single-vehicle crash in which a man died in Meath on Thursday evening.

The incident happened on the N3 at about 5.00pm at Clowanstown on the Dunshaughlin to Navan road.

Pronounced dead

The driver of the car, a man aged in his 30s, was seriously injured when the car he was driving struck a wall.

He was taken to Navan hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The road has now fully reopened following the collision.
