Nairobi - Kenyan prison warders yesterday shot and killed six of eight death row prisoners who broke out of a jail near the central town of Nyeri, police said. The warders opened fire on the fleeing prisoners when they escaped from Kingongo prison early yesterday morning.
Two of the inmates escaped and are still at large.
