London - Two teenage sisters face long custodial sentences after they were convicted at the Old Bailey yesterday of killing a frail 87-year-old widow they battered and robbed of her savings.

Jean (19) and Kellie (17) Lyons from London were both cleared of murdering Rose Mackenzie, who died in February, but convicted of her manslaughter. The sisters were remanded in custody for pre-sentence reports.
