Gardaí at Coolock are investigating an armed robbery this morning in which a shot was fired at a man.
Two men wearing balaclavas drove a car into a van on St Donagh's Road and confronted a man travelling inside.
They fired one shot and escaped with a quantity of cash in car - described as either a Mercedes or a BMW.
Nobody was injured, although the victim was taken to Beaumont Hospital suffering from shock.
