Moscow - Russia is ready to participate in the Middle East summit in Sharm el Sheikh "on the same level as the other participants," the foreign ministry said yesterday, quoted by the Interfax news agency.
A Russian government spokesman said earlier that he had "no information on this matter" when asked if the Foreign Minister, Mr Igor Ivanov, would travel to the Egyptian Red Sea resort for today's summit.
