Raiders who struck a businessman on the head with a hammer when he tried to stop them raiding his premises near Ballyvary, Castlebar, are being sought by gardaí in Co Mayo.
Alex Peters, a Dutchman, co-owner of Carrowkeel Camping and Caravan Park, received stitches in his head at Mayo General Hospital after being injured in the attack at about 4.45am on Thursday.
