Paris - Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Paris yesterday for his first official visit to France, where he will attend today's European Union-Russia summit and have talks with French leaders to smooth out rocky relations.
Mr Putin has has been irked by French opposition to Moscow's year-long military campaign in the Chechnya region.
