The man was arrested in the south Down area yesterday morning by police investigating the Real IRA massacre, which claimed 29 lives.

One man is currently facing charges in connection with the August 1998 blast, which resulted in the biggest single loss of life of the Troubles.

Meanwhile, relatives of the dead are to meet Prime Minister Tony Blair at Downing Street next week.

It will be the first time they have met since the atrocity in the Co Tyrone market town.

They are due to meet the Northern Ireland Police Ombudsman Nula O'Loan, whose officers are carrying out an investigation into certain aspects of the police probe.
