Police and firefighters were attacked in Co Antrim by a gang of some 50 people overnight.
The attacks happened in the Dunclug area of Ballymena between 11pm last night and 3am this morning.
Stones and bricks were thrown at the police and fire crews responding to attempts to set fire to a number of cars.
There were no reports of injuries and no arrests.
