Pigs do fly

Mary O'Rourke said that by nature she was sometimes funny but on occasions such as this - the ESB National Media Awards in Croke Park on Wednesday - she found it hard to be so, and sometimes missed both point and punchline. But she would have a go. She had read in the papers under the heading "Pigs Do Fly" of a wealthy couple who booked their pet pig on a flight with them. The pig ran amok and frightened everyone on board. "Was it an Aer Lingus flight? No, I think it was Ryanair."
